Abstract
Based on reciprocity perspective and LMX theory, this study investigated the relationship between inclusive leadership and team members’ work procrastination as well as the mediating role of work engagement. Using a questionnaire survey, we gathered college students with team experience in China and obtained 185 usable responses as data to test our hypotheses. The results show that inclusive leadership is negatively related to work procrastination, inclusive leadership positively influences work engagement, and work engagement mediates the relationship between inclusive leadership and work procrastination. These findings can provide guidance for team leaders on how to reduce team members’ work procrastination to improve team performance.
